hi, i want to ask if u can make your own board version like make 1.4.0 board by taking IPS permission and make th admin cp like 2.0.0 and add xml skins beacause there is A forum host that is doing it but it is 1.3 but they made 2.1 they are making 2.2 in may or june u could it too but it will take a long time they have the admin cp modifyed u could do that and they could too could u please try it????

well it is a great idea, but if there is a 1.4. I think it should be the IPB 2.2 acp. that would be cool.

and when you say about another host already doing this, IPBFREE right?

I'm really confused by your question.

There's no Invision Board 1.4 and IPS won't give you permission for it. And the version numbers 2.1 and 2.2 (in this case) don't relate at all to IPB 2.1 or 2.2.

he wants you to make one. he saying make your own modified IPB 1.3 and make it look like IPB 2. A loop hole in the IPB license.

I am saying instead of the admin CP to look like the IPB 2 (like he requested). I am saying if rapidboards made a modified version could they make the admin control panel look like IPB 2.2.

he is saying host a modified version of IPB 1.3 to look like IPB 2 and use it on hte hosting (a loophole).

but then we might have some problems with mod intergration wont we?
